Guangdong TCM Hospital

Guangdong TCM Hospital

Established in 1933, Guangdong TCM Hospital (the Second Clinical Medical School of Guangzhu University of Chinese Medicine, and Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine), was one of the earliest traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in the modern history of China. It is reputed as the best traditional Chinese medicine hospital in southern Guangdong. To date, the hospital has developed into a large-scale general traditional Chinese medicine hospital that is comprised of five first-class hospitals at grade three, including the Dade Road General Hospital, Ershadao Hospital, Fangcun Hospital (Guangzhou Charity Hospital), Zhuhai Hospital, and University Town Hospital, and three clinics in Xiatang, Tianhe and Luoweichong of Guangzhou, respectively. Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangdong Provincial Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine are also based in the hospital.

Central Conservatory of Music

Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM), located in the capital city of Beijing, is the only university directly under the Ministry of Education to train advanced music professionals. It is the only national key university and "211 Project" university among the country’s art colleges and universities. It is in the first batch of "Double First-Class" colleges and universities in the country to construct world-class disciplines.

Wuhan Metro

Wuhan Metro

Wuhan Metro is the urban rail transit system in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Its first line, Wuhan Metro Line 1, was opened on July 28, 2004, making Wuhan the first city in central China to open rail transit. The average daily passenger volume of Wuhan Metro is 2.7 million, and the highest daily passenger volume is 3.3301 million, ranking sixth in the country. The intensity of passenger flow was 15,000 to 18,000 person-times per kilometer, accounting for 38 percent of the city's public transport volume. To deal with the large passenger flow of Wuhan Metro, Hitachi provided 96 escalators and 4 horizontal sidewalks to Wuhan Metro Line 3, to boost the transportation capacity of Wuhan rail transit system.

Beijing Film Academy

Beijing Film Academy

Beijing Film Academy (BFA) is the largest film college in Asia, and is famous around the world. It is also an art college with key support from the Beijing Municipal People's Government, State Administration of Press, Radio and Television, and Ministry of Education. It is known as "the cradle of Chinese film talent". BFA main campus covers an area of 105 mu. Its Huairou Campus, (under construction), covers an area of about 667 mu, with a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan.

Guangdong Provincial Museum

Guangdong Provincial Museum

Guangdong Provincial Museum, located in No. 2 East Zhujiang Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, sits in the southern part of Pearl River New Town Central District, the new central axis of Guangzhou city. Construction started in 1957 and was completed in 1959. The new museums construction starting in December 2004, and was completed in 2010. Covering a total area of 67,000 square meters, it is the only provincial level comprehensive museum, and also a national first-class museum in the province. The museum mainly displays works on the history and culture, art and nature of Guangdong. It is comprised of a history pavilion, nature pavilion, art pavilion and temporary exhibition pavilion. As of December 2009, the museum had collected more than 166,000 pieces (sets) of work. It also collects more than 100,000 books.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center

Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center

Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center has a total floor area of 316,000 square meters. The main buildings include three convention and exhibition centers, and two Oriental International Conference Hotels. The center has more than 170,000 square meters of conference space, including 65 exhibition venues and conference halls totaling 60,000 square meters, such as the 2,500-seat Century Hall, 250-seat presidium conference hall and medium conference hall, a 1,200-seat Lingnan Chamber, two 500-seat international chambers, 21 city-named medium conference halls and other small and medium-sized conference rooms, like the Oriental Banquet Hall.

The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences

The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences, located in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province, is the largest and most powerful affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences, a key university in the country. It is also one of the largest, strongest comprehensive hospitals in China. Founded in 1910, the hospital was formerly attached to the Guangdong Public Specialized Medical School. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, it was renamed the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2001. It is a national Class Three Grade A hospital and a national baby-friendly hospital. It is made up of the headquarters and the eastern hospital (the headquarters sits in Yuexiu District in downtown Guangzhou, and the eastern hospital is in the central part of Huangpu District, eastern Guangzhou). It is an important base for medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care and rehabilitation in South China. It has long been famous in China and Southeast Asia for“technical skills and moral excellence”.

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center

Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center

Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center is a super-large public building integrating the functions of exhibitions, conferences, businesses, catering, and entertainment services. It was built with funds from the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Designed by GMP, it is the largest single building in Shenzhen. The perfect combination of a steel structure with a glass dome and curtain walls makes it an exquisite "crystal palace", showing the charm of the exhibition.

National Gymnasium of Beijing Olympic Park

National Gymnasium of Beijing Olympic Park

The National Gymnasium, located in the southern part of the center of Beijing Olympic Park, has an overall floor area of 80,890 square meters. It is one of the iconic buildings in the central Olympic district. The National Gymnasium, commonly known as the Folding Fan, is one of the three main venues for the Beijing Olympic Games.

The National Gymnasium consists of the main building of the gymnasium, a warm-up hall next to it, and the corresponding outdoor environment. It has 18,000 permanent seats and 2,000 temporary seats. During the Olympic Games, it served as the venue for competitive gymnastics, trampoline, and handball competition. During the Paralympic Games, it was used to host the wheelchair basketball competition. After the Olympic Games, the National Gymnasium, a first-class sports facility in Beijing, has become a public activity center for sports competitions and cultural entertainment for the people.

Guangzhou Library

Guangzhou Library

Guangzhou Library covers an area of 21,000 square meters, with an overall floor of 98,000 square meters. With two underground floors, 10 floors in the North Tower and 8 floors in the South Tower, it is one of the largest city libraries in the world. It is built with a total investment of 1.314 billion yuan. Taking "beautiful books" as the design concept, the library, relying on the city's new axis landscape, adopts a unique, east-west elegant zigzag styling of north and south towers. It highlights the stacked architectural texture, symbolizing the overlap of books and the deposition of history and culture. It also integrates cultural elements like arcades, embodying artistic characteristics from Lingnan architecture. In 2011, it was selected into the top 100 Scenery of New Guangzhou.

Central Academy of Fine Arts

Central Academy of Fine Arts

Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), located in the capital city of Beijing, is the only world-class college of fine arts directly under the Ministry of Education. Topping the eight major Chinese art academies, it was the first national academy of fine arts education in the history of China, marking the beginning of modern art education in China. It is the only institution hosting national key subjects of fine arts and design in the country, as well as the only art college to have two key subjects listed for“Double First-Class” discipline construction. It is also an art college with the strongest comprehensive strength, and the highest institution of Chinese fine arts. CAFA teaching and research facilities cover an area of 495 mu, with a total building area of 247,000 square meters.

National Library

National Library

National Library of China (NLC), located at No.33 South Zhongguancun Street, is adjacent to the Gaoliang River, Baishiqiao, and Zizhuyuan Park in Haidian District, Beijing. NLC General Library covers an area of 7.24 hectares with a floor area of 140,000 square meters. The main building features twin towers with double eaves, a large peacock blue glazed tile roof, light milky gray tile exterior walls, granite pedestal stone terrace, and white marble railings. The whole building takes blue as the basic tone, implying use of water against fire.

NLC is separated into the South Pavilion, North Pavilion, and Ancient Book Pavilion. It has collected 31.19 million books, including over 2 million ancient books. In 2008, NLC, with a floor area of 280,000 square meters, is the largest library in Asia, and the third largest in the world.

Military Museum of Chinese People's Revolution

Military Museum of Chinese People's Revolution

Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, located on the Chang'an Avenue extension line to the west of Tiananmen, Beijing, its construction started in 1959. It was one of the top 10 buildings in the capital city constructed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of New China. On March 12, 1959, it was officially named the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution, under the approval of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China.

As the only large, comprehensive, military history museum in China, it covers an area of over 80,000 square meters, with a floor area of over 60,000 square meters, and a display area of more than 40,000 square meters. The main building stands 94.7 meters high, 7 floors in the center and 4 stories on both sides. By the end of 2012, the museum had 22 display halls and 2 display squares. The museum has collected more than 340,000 pieces of cultural relics and collections. They include 1,793 pieces of national first-class cultural relics, over 250 pieces of large-scale weapons and equipment, over 1,600 works of art, and 2,551 gifts received in military exchanges with foreign countries. Among them, a copper gilded crossbow, Zhenyuan ship anchor, Ye Ting’s sword, Japanese 38th Year Rifle and PLA’s first tank are cultural relics of great historical value.

Jinan Olympic Sports Center

Jinan Olympic Sports Center

Jinan Olympic Sports Center, a stadium in Jinan, covers an area reaching East Jingshi Road in the north, North Long’ao Road in the south, East Aoti Road in the east, and West Aoti Road in the West. It covers a total area of about 81 hectares, a total building area of about 357,000 square meters, with an investment of about 5 billion yuan.

Shanghai Pudong Sports Center

Shanghai Pudong Sports Center

Shanghai Huangpu Sports Center is a comprehensive gymnasium integrating sports competitions, training, theatrical performances, catering, accommodation, fitness and entertainment. Located in No. 311 Central Shandong Road, the golden section in the center of Shanghai (intersection of Jiujiang Road and Shandong Road), it is within a stone's throw from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the world-famous First Street of China. The sports center also plays a multifunctional role. Equipped with sound equipment and lighting facilities with the same effects as theatres, as well as large electronic screens, it can host a variety of performances. It has hosted major performances of large performance organizations at home and abroad, such as the Las Vegas Art Troupe of the United States, the Kazakhstan Circus, the Korean National Acrobatic Troupe, the French Dorothée Singing Group, the German Jazz Rock Band, and the General Political Department Song and Dance Troupe. The performances included large-scale song and dance concerts to commemorate the 100th birthday of Mao Zedong, national Peking Opera star concert, national youth group dynamic concert, and Shanghai Tourism Festival.

The First Hospital of Peking University

The First Hospital of Peking University

Peking University Hospital, established in 1915, was the first national hospital, and also one of the first clinical medical schools established in the country. The hospital predecessor was the clinic affiliated to the Beijing Medical School, approved of the Ministry of Education, during the period. In 1946, it was merged with Peking University along with Beijing Medical College, and hence was named Peking University Hospital. Since then, it has experienced adjustment of faculties and departments in the country. In 2000, Peking University and Beijing Medical University merged again, and the hospital was renamed Peking University First Hospital. In 2008, it became a central healthcare base hospital.

Qingdao Metro

Qingdao Metro

Qingdao Metro is an urban rail transit system serving Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China. Qingdao Metro Line 3, the first metro line in the city, went into trial operation on December 16, 2015. As of October 2017, Qingdao had seven metro lines under construction, which are Metro Line 1, Metro Line 2, Metro Line 4, Metro Line 7 First Phase, Metro Line 8, Metro Line 11, and Metro Line 13 First Phase and Second Phase. As a new metro project, Qingdao Metro has entered a period of rapid development. Hitachi Elevator takes an active part in supporting construction of escalators. In the past three years, it has provided Qingdao Metro with over 100 escalators.

Number of Escalators: 102.
Service Highlights: 8 escalators with a lift height greater than 20m. Among them, the escalator with a lift height of 25m is the highest Hitachi escalator ever applied in a metro project.

Guangzhou Metro

Guangzhou Metro

Guangzhou Metro is the urban rail transit system for Guangzhou, the third largest city in China. It went into operation on June 28, 1997. Guangzhou was the fourth city on the Chinese mainland, after Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin, to open and operate a metro. At present, Guangzhou has metro lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8, Guangfo Line and APM Line in operation. Since 2004, Guangzhou Metro has been expanding at an annual rate of 35km. Under long-term planning, Guangzhou Metro will reach 600km, to become a main hub system of urban traffic in Guangzhou. Hitachi Elevator has provided Guangzhou Metro with more than 1,700 public transport escalators. They are separated into 786 put into use, and 739 under construction, and 152 put into use, and 102 under construction in the Guangfo Line, covering Guangzhou Metro lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 (and extension lines), APM Line and Guangfo Line.

Number of Escalators and Elevators: there are more than 1,700 escalators and elevators.
