Hitachi Elevator (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., Hitachi Automatic Escalator (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.and Guangzhou Guangri Elevator Co., Ltd. sign consolidation letter of intent.

Three companies were formally merged and the Company was renamed as Guangzhou Hitachi Elevator Co., Ltd.
1999
The three major centers of Hitachi Elevator:the R&D center,the training center and The remote monitoring center were founded.

Guangzhou RopenTe Technology Development Co., Ltd. was established
2001
State Personnel Board approves and establishes the 1st post-doctoral research center in the industry.
2002
The first moving walkway of the Company was put into production.
2003
The annual output of the elevators at 8,000 sets hits a record high

Hitachi Elevator Motor (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. was established
2005
Tianjin Manufacturing Base was opened.

The 10th anniversary party of the company

The Company set the industry record at the rate of 100,000 sets in 10 years.
2008
480m/min (8 m/s) ultra-high speed double-car elevator was provided for Shanghai World Financial Center, the world's tallest building at that time.
2009
Shanghai Manufacturing Base was opened.
2010
The construction of Hitachi Elevator Mito Factory's 213.5m high test tower G1 Tower (the highest in the world) was officially completed.
2010
Hitachi Elevator Shanghai R&D Center was officially completed, which could test 10m/s ultra-high speed elevators.
2011
Hitachi Elevator (Guangzhou) Escalator Co., Ltd. was founded.
2011
The 600m/min (10m/s) ultra-high-speed elevator was provided for Wuxi Huaxi Air Building.
2012
Our company gains title of “Guangdong government quality reward”.
2013
Chengdu Manufacturing Base was opened.
2013
Guangzhou Science City Manufacturing Base was fully put into use.
2014
The world's highest-speed elevator was developed successfully and a 1,200m/min (20m/s) elevator was provided for Guangzhou CTF Finance Center.
2015
The Company's sales volume exceeded 500,000 sets at its 20th anniversary celebration.
2016
The construction of Hitachi Innovation World was completed.
