Aiding Students in Autumn

Since 2006, Hitachi Elevator has worked with Guangzhou Federation of Trade Unions to carry out the "Aiding Students in Autumn" Program. By 2017, Hitachi Elevator had donated RMB 1.95 million to help more than 1,909 poor students, and solve their schooling problems.

Be Friends and Love with Hearts

Hitachi Elevator regards "Education" as one of the important contents of "Win-Win with society", and uses its own professional strength and corporate resources to promote development of education in China to the greatest extent. At the beginning of its establishment, the volunteer association of the company regarded disabled children and stay-at-home children as its major aided subjects. It continuously carries out the "Be Friends and Love with Hearts" Program, having established a "Charity Library" for the children in Alxa, and Gancun of Maoming, having held "Funny Class" for the stay-at-home children of Paitan of Zengcheng and Gongxian of Yibin, and regularly visiting orphanages and welfare houses, etc.

"Hand in Hand with Stay-at-home Children" Charity Campaign

Since March 2014, the "Hand in Hand with Stay-at-home Children" Charity Campaign has continued regularly in fixed places, providing services for stay-at-home children at New Gaopu Village and Old Gaopu Village, Paitan Town, Zengcheng, Guangzhou. By paying attention to the development of stay-at-home children, opening interest training courses, manual training and outdoor activities, while accompanying the children to have a good weekend, the campaign guides them to contact and learn more extra-curricular knowledge, and learn living skills in a funny and experiential manner. At the same time, it uses its own positive resources to call more external forces to pay attention to stay-at-home children, care about their psychological development, and help them grow healthy and happy. This campaign is held once per month with a view to building a platform of bi-directional exchange and interaction between volunteers and children to explore new things together, to share one another's life together, to laugh together and grow together.

Minor Action, Major Change

The Volunteer Association of Hitachi Elevator, with a view to bringing large changes to the environment by merging the small actions of employees, including "Recycling of Waste and Old Batteries", "Recycling of Expired Drugs", "Environment-friendly Riding", "Clear Your Dish", so as to popularize environmental protection knowledge by teaching with a lively manner and raise their public environmental protection awareness.
